GTA 6 missions haven’t been listed by Rockstar yet, and won’t be before launch on 19 November 2026. What has been shown: a job offer from Brian Heder at a Vice City rooftop bar, armed robberies with masks, getaways from police and an office shootout. (Confirmed, from trailers and the Extended Look)

Is there a GTA 6 mission list?
No. Rockstar never publishes mission lists before a GTA launches, and any “full GTA 6 mission list” you see online right now is guesswork or comes from the 2022 leak. We won’t publish either. We’ll build the real list from launch day, one mission at a time.
What we can do is put together every mission-style moment Rockstar has shown officially.
GTA 6 missions shown in the trailers and Extended Look
1. Brian’s rooftop job. In the Extended Look, Brian Heder meets Jason and Lucia at a rooftop bar in downtown Vice City and offers them work. Lucia leaves Jason to take it on. (Confirmed, shown) It’s the clearest look yet at how story missions start.
2. Store robberies. The first trailer ends with Jason and Lucia robbing a store together, masks on, guns drawn. The Extended Look adds detail: you pick a face covering from an item wheel and characters hide guns behind their backs before walking in. (Confirmed, shown)
3. Getaways. Several clips show the pair escaping police after a job, including a chase where the game switches between them, and a hostage in the boot. (Confirmed, shown) How you escape matters more than before. See the GTA 6 wanted system.
4. An office shootout. Late in the Extended Look, Jason fights through an office using cover, picks up an enemy’s rifle and finishes with a slow-motion shot. (Confirmed, shown)
5. Car theft as a mission tool. Jason breaks into a car with a slim-jim tool and a timed meter, a quieter option than smashing the window. (Confirmed, shown)

The story behind the GTA 6 missions
Rockstar’s official setup: Jason and Lucia are pulled into a criminal conspiracy across Leonida after a sure-thing heist goes wrong. (Confirmed) So expect the main missions to build from small jobs, like the ones above, to bigger heists. More on how the story is structured in How GTA 6’s story works.
Who gives the missions?
Rockstar has profiled several characters who look set to hand out work: Brian Heder (drug runner in the Keys), Raul Bautista (bank robber looking for talent) and Boobie Ike (Vice City businessman). (Characters confirmed; their exact missions not confirmed) Meet them in our GTA 6 characters list.
How long are GTA 6 missions overall?
Rockstar North’s Rob Nelson said his latest run through the story and side content took about 80 hours. (Reported, from previews)
My take
Missions are the reason I fell in love with Rockstar games. From Vice City to GTA 5, I’ve always tried to finish every mission the way Rockstar designed it, and then replay it my own way. I’ve even built my own custom missions in GTA 5, so I notice how much planning goes into a good one. What I want from GTA 6 is RDR2-level variety: big heists, but also small side missions with real stories. If Jason and Lucia’s missions give us choices in how we complete them, that will be a dream.
GTA 6 missions: FAQ

Yes, the game switches between them, including during a chase in the Extended Look. Whether you choose who to play in every mission hasn’t been confirmed.
Are there heists in GTA 6?
Yes. The story itself starts with a heist that goes wrong. (Confirmed) The exact number of heists isn’t known.
